How to reset toner/drum counts on Brother MFC-L2750DW & MFC-L2900DW
Toner: This should be performed when toner is replaced**
- Open the front cover: This is usually where the toner cartridge is accessed.
- Press and hold both the "Return" and "Cancel" buttons (↩️,❌). Hold them for about one or two seconds.
- Release both buttons and quickly press "Return" (↩️) again: This should bring up the reset menu.
- Select the toner type: Use the arrow keys to navigate and select the appropriate toner type (e.g., TNR-HC for high capacity or TNR-STD for standard capacity).
- Confirm the reset: Press the "Yes" button to confirm the reset for the selected toner.
- Close the front cover: The printer should now indicate that the toner has been reset.
Drum: This should only be performed when replacing the drum unit**
- Make sure the machine is on.
- Close the front cover.
- Press
(Cancel).
- Press and hold
(Toner) for five seconds.
- Press Drum, and then press Yes.
The drum counter is now reset, and the printer should be ready to use.
