Removing old accounts from Microsoft Authenticator

If a user is having issues with their current authenticator, it may be that we have to remove old links to their account and reset it within Entra

How to Delete Accounts from Microsoft Authenticator

Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone.

Make sure you are in the Authenticator tab with the home icon at the bottom of the display.

Tap on the account you wish to delete.

Tap on Settings (gear icon) in the upper right corner.

Tap Remove Account and verify your selection.

You'll end up back at the home display with your list of accounts. The deleted account should now be gone.
